Introduction.A shapeshifter inspired by the idioms "You are what you eat" and "Did you have a clown for breakfast?" (og German: Hast du einen Clown gefrühstückt?)

Story.People are easy to manipulate when they don’t know who they are.Taking body after body and form after form blurred the lines of who he actually is or used to be. Without a purpose, name, or goals, it was easy for the Director to give him those things and take advantage of his gratitude. She made him believe that only humans can have a place in this world, and only those with an identity may live in it.
He believed that her words were lifting him up, but he was merely clinging onto the idea of a greater purpose and sense of self that only she could grant him.
Zwei (German for two) took on the name long ago. He’s the second to inhibit this body, every body.At his core lies a being he’s long forgotten, with a name that he lost. When there’s no identity within him, only others can give him that.
The Director bound him to the travelling circus, which meant a place in this world, a stable form, an identity, and a purpose. Immersed in his role as the jester, he stayed.
Only when the Director’s order for him to retrieve a young woman of the circus–Emilia–causes him to clash with a former detective does he slowly realise the shackles that being given an identity has put on him.
